What Can I Do To Clear My Pimples Naturally

Q: I have had pimples for a while. how can I treat and clear them naturally?

Camille's Answer:

Clearing your acne is very possible but it takes time and dedication to do the things that you know you should to see results. The best acne clearing routine involves 4 parts.

1. Cleanse:

You need a cleanser that's strong enough to get rid of dirt, oils and dead skin but gentle enough to not completely dry your face out. 100% African black soap does this and also helps to fade dark marks from old acne scars.

2. Tone:

When you have acne the best way to "tone" is with a mud mask. If you can find a good quality clay mask and use it all over your face 3-4 times a week for an hour that will help to dry up the acne pimples, both blackheads and whiteheads.

3. Moisture:

Use a moisturizer that has tea tree oil in it. You can make your own by whipping some organic shea butter in a clean container and adding a few drops of the essential oil. You can add another calming and soothing oil like lavender or rose to help you skin as well as cut down on the strong scent of the tea tree.

4. Diet:

Eat mostly fresh live foods like fruits and vegetables (at least 50% of your food) while staying away from greasy foods and foods that you find trigger breakouts for you (for a lot of people it's sea food, chocolate and bread). Also remember to drink a lot of water 8-10 glasses a day.
