Q: Can I use cold water to wash out perm?

A: The instructions on every perm package is different.

Your best bet is to follow the instructions on the perm packet EXACTLY to prevent anything going wrong.

Try not to substitute recommended products or methods when using them. Just do as the instruction say and you'll be fine.

If it calls for warm water and for some reason your warm water is out then under emergency (you have to get that perm out after a certain amount of time), I would use regular temperature water, but only as a last resort.

The most important thing though is to make sure you rinse all the perm from your hair completely.
