Are your eyebrows scantier that you’d like? If so, I can totally relate.
On one hand, you don’t have to worry about plucking and waxing and using other torturous devices to get a perfectly streamlined brow. On the other hand you end up not having enough of an eyebrow to define your face and make your eyes the star of the show.
So what’s a girl to do?
One of my mottos is ‘fake it till you make it’! So let’s look at tips to make your brows look fuller and more defined.
How To Fill In Thin Eyebrows Step By Step
If you can’t hold a candle to Brooke Shields’ you’ll need to get familiar with either an eyebrow pencil or a good eyebrow powder.
Here are some tips for filling out your thin eyebrows with each one (find the right eyebrow shape for your face first).
How To Fill In Eye Brows With Pencil
Step 1 - Brush the brows up and out so you can see the spots that need filling in.
Step 2 - Take a sharpened pencil and roll the tip back and forth between your finger tips to warm it up so it goes on smoothly.
Step 3 - Use a light hand to make short hair-like strokes going in the direction of your hair growth.
Step 4 - Repeat the steps on the other eyebrow.
How To Fill In Eyebrows With Powder
Step 1 - Brush the brows up and out so you can see the spots that need filling in.
Step 2 - Take an angled brush with stiff bristles and dip the tip in a brow powder that’s slightly lighter than your brow hairs.
Step 3 - Use the brush and fill in the brow following the natural shape.
Step 4 - Repeat the steps on the other eyebrow.
Tips For Filling In Thin Eyebrows
Use a color that’s slightly lighter than your brows to fill in the thin areas so it looks natural.
Use a clear mascara to set your finished eyebrows so they stay in place all day long.
Never use black pencil or powder to fill in your brows because they’ll come off looking too harsh.
