Switching From Curl To Perm

Q: How long should you wait to switch back to a relaxer from a curl?

A: This is great question and something I've dealt with myself.

If you wait about 6-12 months and do some serious deep moisturizing and protein treatments you can make a smooth transition from a curl into a straight perm.

The key is to keep the hair conditioned as well as trim the older hair off as it grows out.

More than likely you're going to end up with a short hair style in the beginning but it will get healthy and longer if you keep up with your regimen.
