How To Make Short Hair Curly

Q: I have very dry tiny curls in my hair with some breakage. I lost a bunch of it from giving myself a perm and dying my hair all in the same month so now it's very short.

I actually want to keep it short and curly. How do I get them to be more loose and less dry without causing more breakage?

A: If your hair doesn't naturally have the curl texture that you want you can do one of two things.

1. Do a twist out every time you wash.

2. Use a texturizer on your hair and leave it in until you get the desired curl that you want.

Whichever one you decide to try you definitely need to spend some time deep treating your hair to stop further damage and also trim off all the ruined hair that's on the ends.

Good luck and be sure to post a picture of the final result!
