Q: I fell and had a rug burn on my forehead. The scar just fell off and it is a white circle now!

What can we to make a white scar dark again that's on my face?

My gram has been treating it with vitamin E, does this work? My face is lighter than my back and arms as I am bi-racial.

A: Your grandma is doing the right thing. That white patch of skin is normal after you get a scar.

Just keep treating it with the vitamin E and your skin will get back to it's normal color in time without getting too dark and hyper-pigmented.

In the mean time if you feel self conscious about it you should try covering it up with concealer until it's back to normal.
