How To Get Rid Of Small Pox Spot

by Pat
(Lagos, Nigeria)

Q: What can I do to get rid of aged smallpox spots?

Camille's Answer:

Hi Pat. I'm not very familiar with smallpox so I had to do some research.

It seems as though unlike mild to moderate acne, smallpox affects the skin down to its deepest layers. Because of that the scars left behind by them tend to take a very long time to fade if they ever do. Also because it tends to affect a large portion of the face and body it's really hard to treat.

I'd suggest you visit a dermatologist to talk about your treatment options for bringing back even tone to the skin after dealing with this serious disease.

Also, you can look into camouflage makeup. It's thicker than regular makeup and is used to cover more noticeable scars an discoloration (like with people with vitiligo for example).

Please see a professional and I hope you find the solution you're looking for!
