How Do I Make My Micro Braids Wavy?

Q: how do I get my micro braids wavy? They're are too straight.

A: Hi Kimma. Well that depends on what kind of hair they were done with.

If it's human hair you can use a crimping iron or just braids them up damp, sleep with them like that over night and release the braid in the morning.

If you used synthetic hair you can roll the ends in small per rods and dip them in steaming hot water (be VERY careful when you do this because you can get burnt) for a few seconds then remove the rods.

The type of hair you used will be the big deciding factor in which method you use.
