Eyeshadows that go with a red dress

by Star
(Los Angeles)

I'm trying to think of eyeshadows that go with a red dress.

I am very close in skin complexion to you. I may be a hint lighter with a orange-yellow undertone.

I really want to do eyeshadow with a red dress, but I want to avoid the smokey eye look. What do you recommend.

Showcase the dress with neutral eyes!
by: Camille

I think that if you're going to make a bold statement with your red dress you need to keep your face looking pretty but also classic.

Wearing neutral shades on your eyes and a stronger lip is a beautiful look and will keep it from looking like you have too much going on.

Stick to shades of browns like caramels, taupe, cocoa etc. Stay with the same look of lighter on the lid and brow bone and put the darker shade in the crease.

Using a black liner in a thin line only on the top lid will give definition to your eyes and a classic look as well.

I've been trying to find a picture of myself with that look but I can't so I'm going to do it on myself later and post.
