Q: Going on a cruise and want to get braids. What's the best type of hair to use if I will be doing a lot of swimming?

A: The best type of braids for swimming are box braids and micros. They are both very washable without looking terrible like cornrows).

If you'll be in the water 24-7 then I'd go with the box braids with synthetic hair. Those stand up to anything and will be care free for the whole trip.
