Acne Treatment for Black Skin - Find Acne Solutions

Before you go looking for an effective acne treatment for black skin you need to know what type of acne you have and what caused it in the first place.

Then you'll be able to look for the right products and treatments to get the clear skin you deserve.

The main cause of acne is pore clogging bacteria combining with dirt and oils. When this happens the pores get inflamed and 'whoop there it is'.... acne!

Acne ranges from mild to severe and depending on the type you have, the treatment that would work for you might be different.

Different Types of Acne

Whiteheads - These looks white at the surface of the skin and pop up when pores are blocked completely. They don't last long and are typically the fastest and easiest type of acne to get rid of.

Blackheads - This type of acne happens when the pores are blocked, but not completely. The head of the pimple looks black because of the interaction of the pore blockage with the oxygen in the atmosphere. You have to carefully and gently remove these from your skin (yeah, I know it hurts) plus prevent new ones from popping up to get completely clear skin.

Cystic Acne - These look like whiteheads but have small or large pockets of pus caused by inflammation. You need to be very careful with this type of acne because they can get infected easily and can lead to some deep scars if not treated early.

BWBC Tip: As you might want to, don't squeeze your pimples. It will only make them worse by spreading bacteria and it'll leave scars (not cute)!

Unfortunately for us, because we have black skin, not only do we have to deal with the acne itself but we have to fight with the dark marks that acne usually leaves behind after it's gone (don't you just hate that?!).

But don't worry! There is a great acne treatment for black skin out there that will turn your skin around and set you off to getting totally clear.

Acne Treatment for Black Skin - Best Acne Treatment

The key to clearing acne from your skin is finding the right acne treatment for black skin and regimen that will work for you. Because acne varies from person to person, there's no one remedy that is cure all.

These basic tips will help you find the right combination to get and keep your skin clear.

  • Look closely at your skin and find out what type of acne you suffer from.

  • Find a good acne treatment system that's good for your skin type and also your type of acne.

  • Follow a twice daily regimen that includes a cleanser, toner, moisturizer and treatment mask (if needed).

  • Avoid harsh skin products and the sun. They'll irritate your skin and make acne worse.

  • Drink lots of water every day. Drinking the right amounts will help keep your skin clear and supple by flushing the bad stuff out of your system,

  • Work on improving your diet. Eat more whole foods and avoid "junk" type foods as often as possible.

  • If you have severe acne, find a good dermatologist that specializes in black skin care and get a consultation.

  • Do not pick or squeeze at your face because it causes dark marks that take a long time to fade.

  • Investigate ways to get rid of skin discoloration left behind by acne.

If you are anything like me, your skin is acne prone because it's oily. The only acne treatment for black skin that has really worked for me is taking vitamin B5 in a certain dosage. I stumbled on an acne vitamin 2 years ago and since then my skin has been under control. I have less oil, less pimples, and the dark marks from the old ones have gone away completely.

Check out SkinB5 - The New Way to Treat Acne to find out more about this acne eliminator.

It takes time to fully control you acne and for your skin to be completely clear. The sooner you start, the faster you'll reap the reward that is clear skin!

Beauty Tip Of The Day

Don't believe the hype! Going long periods without washing your hair won't make it grow. It'll just make it very dirty.

Wash your hair every 3-4 days for optimum health.
