Now that you’ve honed in on your hair type and discovered that you’re a 4b it’s time to think about how you should care for your special texture.
Here are some care tips and advice for your natural or relaxed 4b type.
What Does 4b Look Like?
Type 4b hair doesn’t have a distant curl pattern to it. The length of the strand tends to have random “kinks” in it that look like the letter Z.

It’s important to remember that even in the type 4 group of black hair there’s a lot of variation so your hair might not looks exactly like this, but still be considered a 4b.
