I'd recommend you go with a gentle natural shampoo product for your baby's hair and also a light moisturizing creme.

You can try the Carols daughter line of hair care products for moisture. I especially recommend the hair milk because it's light and doesn't leave the hair feeling greasy at all. At the same time it leaves hair moisturize and helps to define curl pattern.

The key to taking care of curly/kinky baby hair is to keep it moist and use gentle products on it. Make sure to also use a wide tooth comb and always comb your baby's hair from ends to roots.

Use natural oils and stay far away from petrolatum and other mineral oils. Stick with natural oils like Jojoba and other natural hair moisturizers like Shea butter.
